After researching surgeons from Florida to New York, I chose Dr. Chance to do my surgery. I had a deep plane facelift, brow lift, neck lift, and fat grafting. I am so glad I did my homework. I am so happy with my results, I look better than I ever have. I am almost 50 with a lot of genetic flaws. I now look vibrant and I feel vibrant. The kicker is I never experienced any pain at all. It has been one month today, And everyday is an improvement. Do yourself a favor. Go see her!! She treats you like family. The staff is awesome too!!
Dr Chance and her staff have created such an amazing environment. During my pre op visit, she smiled at me through her warm green eyes and said - you know, we’re actually going to have a lot of fun! Who ever could have thought surgery could be fun? But oh, it was. By the end of the week, we were so sad to leave her. She feels like family to me now. We still exchange texts when someone notices that I look good, I reach out to her and we talk about missing each other and how much fun it all ways. It's quite amazing. She has built such a supportive community for exceptional care and healing. Also, I buried the lead. My results are mind blowing - somehow she’s recaptured my face 15 years ago but almost better? It’s really something. The whole process - from start to finish - is seamless, just like she says. Overwhelmingly positive.
After several years of research, I decided to have facial rejuvenation surgery with Elizabeth Chance, MD. My procedure included upper blepharoplasty, lower blepharoplasty, temporal brow lift, lip lift, deep plane facelift, neck lift, fat transfer, and CO2 laser. I am currently 9 days post-surgery and highly recommend Dr. Chance for these procedures. She has extensive experience and expertise in facial and neck plastic surgery. She and her staff are outstanding and go above and beyond to make you comfortable thru the entire process. Everything from the initial correspondence to post surgery has been very informative and professional. I traveled from another state and was impressed with the ease and proximity to all services needed. Dr. Chance has a true passion for what she does, was honest and upfront at all times and has a superior staff for support.
Dr Chance is the absolute best! She is a true artist and her work is phenomenal. I am 3 months post surgery and I couldn't be more pleased. I look younger, refreshed and very natural but l still look like me, just a better me. During my entire journey Dr Chance and her staff made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision to have the surgery. She took her time and explained the before, during and after. I never felt rushed. I always felt like I was her priority. Its after the surgery and many appointments later and I still feel like I am important to her. She is one of a kind and I am one of the lucky ones to call her my doctor! A shout out to Kimmy - she is Dr Chance's assistant and they make a terrific team.

Dr Chance is magic! She is not only incredibly skilled, she actually cares and spends time with you. She made sure I was prepared for the procedure through her pre op protocol which resulted in only very light bruising in 7 days!!! Miraculous. My results are amazing and I feel like a new person and I’m excited about what’s ahead!!! She gave me so much confidence. I fully trust her and her team.
At 56, I was ready for a facelift. My face no longer reflected how I felt inside. I felt invisible. I was unhappy with my jowls, my neck, eyes and cheeks. I looked tired, but I wasn’t.

She answered all my questions in detail, she made clear what she felt would accomplish my goals. I can’t fully explain it, but I trusted her implicitly. Her energy, her staff, the feel of her office, I felt completely at ease. My fears were erased. I never got nervous, never felt doubt, even on surgery day. Dr. Chance was available to me from the minute we met, and she still is. She’s the best.

Do you know the feeling when you just know someone is inherently good? Kind, thoughtful, loving and also wildly talented. Those are the words I use to describe Dr Elizabeth Chance. I flew from California for my deep plane facelift and I could not be happier. I was afraid to stay in my very plastic surgery dense region for surgery, as I couldn’t find exactly the results I was looking for with surgeons here. During my zoom consultation with Dr Chance, she put me at ease and answered all of my questions in an unrushed fashion. Her staff mentally prepared me for surgery with a comprehensive study of what to expect before and after surgery - so comprehensive that my anxiety was very much reduced. When I met her in person for the first time, I couldn’t believe her warmth. She is exactly as she seems - a good heart with phenomenal hands and unmatched talent. My results are breathtaking. I look like myself 15 years ago - fresh, contoured, but believable. My scars are barely visible. I’ve already had 5 friends see her in consultation because they just can’t believe it. We’re so fortunate to have this talent exist in the world, and to have it coming from a caring, lovely woman is beyond what you can imagine. Run, don’t walk.
Dr. Chance is superb!!! As a practicing physician myself, I am very particular about my own healthcare. Dr. Chance came highly recommended. After my initial consultation, I knew that she was most certainly the perfect fit for me. She is kind, warm, attentive, compassionate, funny, whip smart, and (above all) an incredibly gifted surgeon. She is a technical phenomenon. I continue to be amazed by her work. She is obsessed with details other surgeons would leave to their assistants. Although, speaking of her support staff, I couldn't ask for a more lovely crew. I felt so supported during the entire process of surgery and recovery. Some 8 or 9 years ago I crossed the hall from my dermatologist and walked into the office of Dr. Chance. I knew nothing about her, but was considering a lower face lift. During my consultation with Dr. Chance she not only spent a great deal of time with me, she listened with compassion about the insecurities that would lead me to consider plastic surgery. I had the surgery the following year and it went beautifully, and with a tune up last year (fat injections and lasering) I can say that I look refreshed, younger than my years, and natural. Dr. Chance is a great surgeon and a lovely person. She is a great practitioner of making one look not only more like one once was, she improves on the original in a way that is natural. I believe in her and am so very grateful to her for her time, skill and kindness.
Dr. Elizabeth Chance is an artist and my results have reflected it. Not only does she focus on creating a natural look, she helps combat signs of aging with the least amount of intervention possible. Dr. Chance really listens to my concerns and is kind, lovely, and brilliant. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. I wouldn’t trust my face to anyone else!
I have been blessed to be a patient of Dr. Chance and Kimmy for the past 5 years. I trust her sense of aesthetics and skillfulness as a surgeon completely. There have been times when I wanted more and she gently steered me to less, and times when she knew what I desired and helped me achieve it through surgery. I think because she pours so much of her own heart into her work, the result is always beautiful.
I honestly believe this particular surgeon is the best, or one of the best in the field of surgical deep plane facials, and in all other ways she helps you to achieve what you want. I started my research. I left no stone unturned. I studied hundreds, maybe a thousand or more “before and afters”. I called and emailed offices, and I asked questions.
After studying Dr. Chance’s results, hers were easily the most consistent of the 3 surgeons. Her price range was lower, and she wasn’t as well known (yet). I was excited to talk to her and see what she was about.
Honorable mention goes to surgical assistant, Kimmy, who is amazing, full of knowledge, and stitch removal was a breeze. She was there for me too. I was 100% supported through the whole process. Now, 18 months out from my procedure and I am even more ecstatic. I look like my old self, maybe better. Recovery was easier than expected. It’s been a life changing surgery and I’d do it all over again.
Wonderful experience with Dr. Chance and her office. Dr Chance is lovely — highly technically skilled, professional and kind. Very relatable. I find her to be honest but not pushy and focused on making each and every client happy. She listens to concerns and makes a plan to address those concerns. I would have flown to the ends of the earth for the best of the best, and it turns out I found her in Charlottesville, VA. I have worked in the aesthetic industry for almost 20 years, so when I made the decision to have a facelift, I knew all the details I was looking for. Dr. Chance and her team hit every one of my must-haves and more than I ever knew I needed. From our first zoom consult to my most recent follow-up visit she has been my biggest supporter.
